The latest patch league table came out this week, and I am still out of the bottom three but not safe from relegation. Things have been slow as the patch is not migrant/warbler friendly and I had to wait for a few flyovers. Since I last posted I have found willow warbler singing briefly once and also a singing whitethroat where I was hoping to see one ie in a scrubby bramble patch between the path and the sea. I have also seen reed bunting and linnet again and suspect both are breeding.Offshore there are more gannets and sandwich terns but little else.
willow warbler
swift
swallow
whitethroat
house martin
